First, fill out all fields in the menu item “License request”. Click the “Request license key” button, and the system will go directly to the “License request” tab. Here you can either send the license request directly by email, or copy it to the clipboard and send it using another method.

Please send license requests to edv@bartelt.at with “License request” in the subject line, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

As soon as your license key has arrived (usually within two working days), you can import it using the “Read license key” button under the “License Request” menu item. And done!

Yes, chemXPERT is a web application. You can access it from all PCs in the same network via the browser. Simply enter the IP address of the computer running chemXPERT in the URL instead of localhost.

The URL is also displayed in the launcher and can be copied to the clipboard with the “copy to clipboard” button and then simply paste it to the address bar of the browser or into an e-mail.

Example: Instead of localhost:8080/oxchemdoc/ use 192.168.31.15:8080/oxchemdoc/

Currently, the following print templates are available:

  • A4 105×148 (pdf) – Label sheets (A4) -105×148mm
  • A4 105×74 (pdf) – Label sheets (A4) -105×74mm
  • A4 70×42 (pdf) – Label sheets (A4) -70×42,3mm
  • A4 97×42 (pdf) – Label sheets (A4) -97x42mm

Printing several labels:

The standard print templates for label sheets correspond to the current label formats for laser printers. These are offered by well-known manufacturers such as Avery or Herma. For this, we recommend our partner Jires.

Printing individual labels:

To print individual labels, you need a special label printer that is optimized for the default label format of 55 x 27 mm. For this, we recommend the Zebra LP2824 label printer from our long-term, experienced partner Jires.

If necessary, however, the label format can be adjusted in the printer settings of the existing printer.

In the standard setting, the container number is displayed as a running number (e.g. “5”). This number range starts with “1” for each chemical.

In the “Settings” (top right next to the name of the user) you can change this format (“Display container number”).

These three variants are available:

  1. Running number (without leading 0) – standard setting
  2. Running number (4-digit with leading 0)
  3. Storage class/CAS number/running number (4-digit with  leading 0)

Simply select the desired entry and save.
